15 March 1858 – Bk 7 p 26 – Indenture – John Tull and Cynthia his wife to William W. Dunn – for natural love and affection for our brother and $10 – the late Walter Dunn Sr., dec by his Will submitted to the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions on Jan Term 1851 devised to Cynthia Dunn, widow of sd Walter during her life 2 tracts "the house tract together with the Lewis C. Desmond and Elizabeth land" – adj Henry Tull’s corner of the William Lovick land, corner of Henry Black land, Wooten Branch to Jericho Swamp, to Daniel Desmond land, to Popular Branch, William Croom’s land, to the house tract, to Henry Tull’s corner of the land bought of William B. Rhem and wife, Rudy Branch, Shadrack Loftin, John C. Washington, to Henry Tull’s corner of the Lovick land – 700 acres – sd Walter Dunn in the next to last clause of sd Will devised the above lands after the death of his wife, Cynthia, to be equally divided between Martha Ann J. Dunn, William W. Dunn, Synthia Ann Dunn, Thomas F. Dunn, Almyoa R. Dunn and Melissa A. Dunn – provided they all live to be 21 years old or marry – the above children are his 6 youngest – if they arrive at 21 or marry they are to receive their portion leaving the rest in common stock – the sd Cynthia Ann Dunn has intermarried with the sd John Tull and we convey our share to him. Bk 9 p 442 – Deed – no exact date but around the 15th of March 1858 – Samuel H. Rountree and Martha J. his wife executed a deed to William W. Dunn for $300 – the late Walter Dunn Sr. dec by his Will probated Jan Term 1851 devised to Cynthia Dunn his widow for her life 2 tracts viz – 1st the home tract together with the Lewis C. Desmond and Elizabeth Desmond land – adj Henry Tull’s corner of the William Lovick land, Henry Blackland, Wooten’s Branch, Jericho Swamp, Daniel Desmond’s land, Poplar Branch, William Croom, the Croom home tract, Henry Tull’s corner of the land bought of William B. Rhem and wife, Reedy Branch, Shadrack Loftin, John C. Washington – of 700 acres – Dunn’s Will specified after the death of his widow the land was the be divided between Ann J. Dunn, William W. Dunn, Cynthia Ann Dunn, Theresa F. Dunn, Almira R. Dunn, and Melissa H. Dunn, provided they all lived to be 21 or marry – should any not live or marry then the rest to be divided equally between my youngest 6 children - the sd Martha Ann J.
