For $740 for four certain tracts of land lying in Brogden Township, Wayne County, being the land fully described by metes and bounds in a deed from Matthew M. Jones and wife to said Joel S. Fields containing 89 3/4 acres more or less said deed recorded in the Register or Deeds office of Wayne County in Book No. 78, page 437. [Tract 1: 27 acres; Tract 2: 56 3/4 acres; Tract 3: 6 acres.]

Also a tract of land containing 56 acres more or less being Lot No. 5 in the division of Newman Potts dec'd recorded in Book No. 54, page 44 and therein alloted to said Newman Potts. It is agreed that when the said Joel S. Fields shall pay $175 of the debt herein before named, he shall be released from any further indebtedness secured by this conveyance and the residue of said debt is to be paid by said Newman Potts.
