5 Mar 1799 - This Indenture made this twenty fifth day of March one thousand seven hundred and ninety nine between David Dunn of the county of Craven and state of North Carolina of the one part and John Dunn of the county and state aforesaid. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of thirty eight pounds current money of this state to him the said John Dunn in hand paid the receipt whereof he doth fully acknowledge hath given and granted aliened and confirmed enfeoffed and quit claim to a certain one seventh of a piece or parcel of land being the one sixth part of Thomas Carey's Patent, situate lying and being in Craven County aforesaid on the south side of Neuse River commonly called Mount Pleasant adjacent to William Johnston's lower corner on the river side, back of said Carey's patent, William Dunn dec'd's lower corner.
