Wm Speight Entry officer for claims for land in the county of Greene to the surveyor of said County Greetings You are hereby required as soon as may be to lay off and survey of Wm Lewis a tract of land containing fifty (sic) acres joining Hills & his own lines Entry made 15th of May 1805 Observing the Directions of the act of the assembly in such case made and provided for running out lands two just & fair plans of such survey with a proper certificate annexed to Each you are to transmit with this repanant to the secretary's office without delay given under my hand &c 21st March 1806. By virtue of a warrant No 77 dated the 21st day of March 1806 I have surveyed for William Lewis a tract of land containing twelve & 1 fourth lying in Greene County on the south side of Great Contentnea Creek and on the north side of the Rainbow adjacent to a hickory his own land, Suggs corner, Hills line.
