Gurley made and executed to Major Lewis and his wife a deed for a certain tact of land in Grantham Township containing 200 acres; and whereas the same day the said Major Lewis and wife esecuted a mortgage deed to said L. D. Gulley to secure purchase money; and now whereas the said Major Lewis and wife S. M. are unable to pay said mortgage and whereas the said Major Lewis and wife have never made any payment. In consideration of the afsd premises, we the said Major Lewis and wife S. M. hereby bargain, sell and convey unto said L. D. Gurley the following land bounded as follows: a stake in the main run of Buck Swamp, C. J. McCullens corner, run of Becton's Branch containing 200 acres.
