To beloved wife Elisabeth Daugherty the use and profits real and personable of my whole estate not to be interrupted by any party or person whatsoever. To James Arnold my lands and plantation, one Negro boy named Peter, shooting gun, one feather bed and furniture equal to my estate and one cow and calf to him and his heirs lawfully begotten of his body. At the decease of my beloved wife Elisabeth Daugherty I give unto my sister Margit's daughters children in Virginia the rest of my whole estate. Negroes and moveable effects to be sold at public vendue at to the highest bidder at twelve months credit with good bond and security and then the money to be divided equally among my sister Margit's daughters children.
