Estate of the minor heirs of Wm. Potts dec'd.
On this day A. C. Yell presented his account current of said estate for annual settlement for confirmation or rejection at the next term of this court wherein he charges himself with the sum of
$666.66 2/3 and asks credit of
$83.14 as per vouchers herein contained
$583.52 2/3 balance in the hands of said Guardian
Which is by the court ordered to be advertised and stand continued until the next term.

Estate of the Minors of the heirs of Wm. Potts dec'd.
Comes A. C. Yell guardian of the said Minors and by leave of the court presents his account current for final settlement of said estate filed at the July term of this court 1870 and which now comes over to be heard - from which said settlement it doth appear that said Guardian stands charged as per his last settlement with the sum of $666.66 2/3 and that he is entitled in credits by the amount of $84.14 leaving in his hands belonging to said estate a balance of five hundred and eighty three dollars and fifty two and 2/3 cents which settlement is examined and approved by the court and at the same time comes the said Guardian and presents here to the court the receipt of William A Brown one of the heirs of said William Potts deceased for the sum of $323.95 and also the receipt of Emily Potts another one of the said Wm. Potts deceased for the sum of $323.95. They being the only heirs at law of said deceased and the sum so paid to them being their distribution share of said estate. It is ordered by the court that said guardian be therefore discharged from further guardianship and that be so herein ___ this day.
Ordered that court adjourn until tomorrow morning 8 Oclock. H. McPherson?, Judge The next day shows a date of Wednesday April 19 1871

Felix G. Potts, brother of William Potts, lived in Bond Co, Ill. Nancy Seefeldt found the following information at Benton County Register of Deeds: Record Book H Page 751 dated Feb 13, 1871 shows Emeline Potts named Felix G Potts of Bond, Illinois as attorney in the estate of William Potts, Benton County, Arkansas. There was a further notation of Felix G Potts being appointed guardian for minor heirs of James W. Brown, John Brown & William Alexander Brown.
