In the name of God Amen, I Loammie Stevens of the county of Williamson and State of Tennessee being in perfect health, mind and memory bless be God for the same do this the 27th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following viz.

I do give and bequeath unto my beloved children named Catharine, Fereby, Elizabeth, Loamie, Harriet, Polly, Rhody, Willie, Latty and Fanny Stephens all my Estate consisting of land, house, furniture, horses, cattle, hogs. Also a number of other items too teadious to mention to be equally divided amongst the above children named.

Knowing whether I shall ever ___ makes me take this my last will in hand, my daughter Belinda and son William Stephens have had their equal portion of my estate, therefore it is my request that they shall not come in for a part with my other children above named. My beloved wife Polly Stephens, I do give and bequeath all my land and personal estate during her life and after her decease then the estate to be equally divided among the ten children first above named. And hereby make and ordain my trusty friend Joel Stephens, George Kinnard and my wife Polley Stephens Executors of this my last will and testament as witness whereof I set my hand & seal the day and year above written.

The within Will & Testament was in open Court October Session 1815 proven by the oaths of Richard Tanner & Charles Stevens the subscribing witnesses thereto, to be the act & deed of Loammie Stevens deceased and the same was ordered to be recorded.
