Indenture made 25 Sep 1858 between A. T. Grady and Jesse Hollowell both of Wayne, did according to the conditions of the Mortgage John Casey entered into with A. T. Grady on 4 Jul 1857 and not complied with, exposed the land to public sale and Jesse Hollowell was the last and highest bidder for $90. Land located on the waters of Oates Marsh adjacent to Haywood Howell, Thomas Rouse, James Kelly and Peggy Kornegay containing 70 acres. Witness: H. S. Price. Registered: 22 Feb 1860.
