Indenture made 14 Sep 1786 between Samuel Herring and Micajah Casey both of Wayne, for 22 pounds land in Wayne on the southside of Neuse River and eastside of Sleepy Creek, William Jones line containing 22 acres being part of a patent granted to William Jones under the seal of his Excellency Richard Caswell esquire bearing date 30 Sep 1785, adjacent to said Caseys land.
